Earlens®
We are proud to be a provider of Earlens, the world’s first and only hearing solution to directly vibrate the eardrum. Earlens delivers more complete sound than any acoustic hearing aid, and a bandwidth that is associated with more natural sound quality and better hearing in noise. With Earlens, a processor worn behind the ear sends an audio signal through the ear tip to a custom lens that rests directly on the eardrum. When the eardrum receives the signal, it gently vibrates the eardrum to activate the ear’s natural hearing system.
Cochlear Implants
When a patient has severe to profound hearing loss and has tried hearing aids, but still needs more clarity, cochlear implants (CI) can provide the clarity they are missing. Our audiologists have experience working with cochlear implants and can perform
evaluations to determine candidacy. The first step is to make sure that hearing aids are providing the appropriate volume and meeting prescriptive targets. The second step is evaluating performance in understanding speech understanding while wearing hearing aids. The ENTA physicians and audiologists work as a team to determine if you might be a candidate for a cochlear implant. Furthermore, if you currently have a CI and need reprogramming (mapping), our office can also provide these routine services.
Osseointegreated Implantable Hearing Devices
Osseointegrated implantable hearing devices such as Baha or Ponto are specialized hearing devices that utilize sound vibration via bone conduction to transmit sound to the inner ear. Because there is a surgical component to these devices, Baha and Ponto
must be recommended by your ENTA Physician and Audiologist. If you have significant unilateral deafness or chronic conductive hearing loss, you might be a candidate for one of these devices.

Custom Earmolds
Our office can provide custom-fit hearing protection for occupational noise exposure, hunting or shooting sports, musicians, motorcyclists, and even for sleeping. Custom earmolds will last for many years, and often provide better protection than single-use foam plugs.
