
THOMAS KANG, MD
Dr. Kang is double board-certified in otolaryngology as well as Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery. He graduated from Stanford University and received his medical degree from Temple University prior to completing residency back at Stanford and a fellowship at University of Missouri. His special interests include facial reconstruction following skin cancer surgery, thyroid and parathyroid gland surgery, treatment of obstructive sleep apnea, nasal obstruction, nasal allergy and sinus problems, cosmetic and aesthetic surgery of the nose and face, as well as all general problems related to the ear, nose, and throat.

R. JONATHAN LARA, DO, FAOCO
Dr. Lara is board-certified in Otolaryngology/Head & Neck Surgery. He obtained his undergraduate degree in Biochemistry/Molecular Genetics from Northern Michigan University and his medical degree from Michigan State University College of Osteopathic Medicine. He completed his residency training at Michigan State University, Botsford General Hospital in Detroit, MI. Dr. Lara welcomes all patients for medical and surgical consultation with issues related to the ears, nose and throat. This includes allergies, nasal/sinusitis problems, hearing & balance disorders, endocrine & salivary gland disease, voice disorders, and the treatment of snoring and sleep apnea. With his background in osteopathic medicine, Dr. Lara incorporates a holistic approach to his patient care.

RAMONA TOY, FNP
Ramona is the first nurse practitioner to join our Sonoran ENT family. She is a board-certified family nurse practitioner with clinical training in otolaryngology. She received her bachelors degree in nursing from the University of Wisconsin- Madison and worked as a registered nurse for eight years before graduating with her Masters degree from the University of Phoenix. She is able to treat pediatric, adult, and geriatric patients with acute and chronic conditions related to the ears, nose, and throat. She believes in always providing excellent, compassionate care and establishing good relationships with her patients.

WILLIAM KLUGE, FNP
William Kluge is a board-certified family nurse practitioner with clinical training in otolaryngology, in addition to training and experience in urgent care, wound care, and primary care for medically complex patients. He received his initial nursing degree from Miami-Dade College, and has 25 years of experience as a registered nurse mainly in emergency and trauma nursing, both at the bedside and a nursing/prehospital educator. He earned his Master’s degree at the University of Phoenix and as a family nurse practitioner. William is qualified to care for patients across the lifespan, with an emphasis on providing high quality, patient-centered treatment of acute and chronic conditions of the ears, nose and throat.

AMANDA KESTER, AuD
Amanda is a certified audiologist as well as a Fellow of the American Academy of Audiology (FAAA). She also holds an Arizona Dispensing Audiology License. She was raised in Tucson, and graduated from the University of Arizona with her bachelor’s degree in Speech and Hearing Sciences. She then attended the University of Oklahoma where she earned her Doctorate in Audiology (Au.D.). Primarily working in a medical setting, Amanda has extensive experience in the evaluation and treatment of hearing loss, balance disorders, and vertigo. She has particular interest in advancements in hearing aid technology, and determining options for those with tinnitus. She has experience with cochlear implants and other implantable hearing devices.

BETH BENITES, AuD
Beth is a certified audiologist as well as a Fellow of the American Academy of Audiology (FAAA). She is also a member of the American Speech, Language, and Hearing Association (CCC-A) and holds an Arizona Dispensing Audiology License. She earned her undergraduate degree in Speech and Hearing Sciences from the University of Arizona and her Doctorate in Audiology (Au.D.) at the University of North Texas. Beth has up to date knowledge and experience in hearing loss, tinnitus management, and balance disorder testing and therapy. She is also very experienced in hearing aid evaluations, including proper selection, fitting, and adjustments. In addition, she also has experience in mapping cochlear implants and other implantable hearing devices.

JAMIE LANDAU, AuD
Jamie is a certified audiologist as well as a Fellow of the American Academy of Audiology (FAAA). She also holds an Arizona Dispensing Audiology License. She was raised in Tucson and graduated from the University of Arizona with her bachelor’s degree in Speech and Hearing Sciences. She then attended A.T. Still University where she earned her Doctorate in Audiology (Au.D). Jamie has worked in both the medical setting and in private practice since 2003. She has up to date knowledge and experience in hearing loss, tinnitus management, and balance disorder testing and therapy. She is also very experienced in hearing aid evaluations, including proper selection, fitting, and adjustments. In addition, she also has experience in implantable hearing devices.
